SYN FREE CHEESE SCONES



PKT INSTANT MASH, 2-3EGGS,FF 3/4 OF A 500G TUBCOTTAGE CHEESE,CHEESE FROM HEALTHY XTRA SEASONING COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS UNTIL A PASTRY CONSISTENCE I ADDED A LITTLE WATER ROLL OUT TO THICKNESS DESIRE CUT INTO ROUNDS AND BAKE AT 180 FOR 15-20 MINS OR UNTIL GOLDEN.

  2. Add a teaspoon of baking powder to help them rise a bit. You can also use Quark in place of the cottage cheese. I also spiced mine up with paprika and added chopped spring onion and sun dried tomatoes to the mix

  3. Which mash do you use as there's a difference in the amount in the packets so must make a difference to the other quantities used.

  4. These are mentioned on the SW website and NOT Syn free as they are a 'tweak' and therefore if you're using smash as a flour substitute then the Syns count the same as if you are using regular flour!

    2. I use Mr MASH, it comes in 3 packet at 100grammes each, I only use 1 packet and the same ingredients as in the original post,hope this helps

    3. The sin value of a packet of cheese and onion smash is only 3. I dont know what the ordinary smash is.

  6. This would make a lovely topping for a pie, in which case it would be free as you'd be eating as part of a meal, otherwise you would need to syn as it would be classed as a tweek...
