SYN FREE 'SMASH' PIZZA


SYN FREE 'SMASH' PIZZA -

BASE - 1 X SMARTPRICE MASH (20P), 250ML WATER, TSP SALT
SAUCE - FEW TBSP PASATTA, GARLIC AND MIXED HERBS
TOPPINGS - HAM/CHICKEN/BEEF AND VEGGIES AND 42G LF CHEDDAR

MIX THE MASH POWDER WITH THE SALT AND WATER AND MOULD TO A DOUGH. FLATTEN OUT INTO CIRCLES ABOUT 3/4CM-1CM THICK. LINE A BAKING TRY WITH GREASEPROOF AND SPRAY WITH FRYLITE AND PUT THE MASH CICLES ON. COOK FOR 15 MINS EACH SIDE AT ABOUT 190O. THEN ADD SAUCE, TOPPINGS AND CHEESE AND COOK FOR UNTIL THEY LOOK DONE.

I HAD SOME LEFT OVER MASH MIX, I MADE THESE 6 PIZZA USING A MUG AS A CUTTER AND I WAS FULL AFTER 4, HAD TO HAVE THE OTHER 2 LATER ON AND THEY ARE JUST AS NICE COLD :)



BAKED BEAN PIZZA:



SWEET POTATO, CHICK PEA & SPINACH CURRY


SWEET POTATO, CHICK PEA & SPINACH CURRY
SERVES 3-4, 3-4 SYNS A PORTION

400G SWEET POTOTOES PEELED
1 400G TIN CHICK PEAS DRAINED
2 LARGE HANDFULS SPINACH
1 LARGE ONION FINELY CHOPPED
1 RED CHILLI FINELY CHOPPED
2 CLOVES GARLIC CRUSHED
1 VEG OXO CUBE MADE UP 1PT BOILING WATER
2 LEVEL TBSP COCONUT MILK POWDER
2 TSP CURRY POWDER
250G FAT FREE FROMAGE FRAIS
2 LEVEL TSP CORN FLOUR
ONE CAL SPRAY

METHOD
HEAT PAN AND SOFTEN ONIONS AND CHILLI FOR 2-3 MINS TURN DOWN HEAT AND ADD CRUSHED GARLIC AND CURRY POWDER.
CHOP SWEET POTATO INTO BITE SIZE PIECES ADD TO ONION MIX STIR THROUGH, DISSOLVE COCONUT POWDER IN STOCK, POUR OVER POTATO MIX AND COOK FOR 15 MINS ENOUGH FOR POTOTOES TO COOK.
THE LIQUID SHOULD HAVE REDUCED BY TWO THIRDS STIR IN CHICK PEAS AND SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES
BRING UP TO BOIL AND THICKEN WITH CORNFLOUR (MIXED WITH 2TBSP COLD WATER) ADD SPINACH COOK UNTIL SPINACH HAS WILTED 2-3 MINUTES.
TURN OFF THE HEAT AND STIR IN FROMAGE FRAIS.
SERVE WITH BASMATI RICE.

BAKED BEAN LASAGNE


2X TINS BAKED BEANS, 1 TIN CHOPPED TOMS (BUT I USED 6 TBS OF PASATTA AS I HAD SOME IN THE FRIDGE,1 PEPPER,1 RED ONION,I ALSO ADDED COURGETTE AND MUSHROOMS AS WELL JUST TO BULK IT OUT,1 CLOVE GARLIC,1 TBSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE AND 1 TBS SOY SAUCE AND 1 TSP PAPRIKA

FRY OINIONS PEPPERS COURGETTES AND MUSHROOMS WITH FRYLIGHT UNTIL SOFT, THEN ADD ALL WET STUFF, LAYER IN A DISH LIKE YOU WOULD NORMAL LASAGNE, (COULD ALSO ADD COTTAGE CHEESE TO THIS) THEN COVER WITH FOIL BAKE IN OVEN FOR 20 MINS ON 180-200, THEN UNCOVER AND ADD CHEESE (HEALTHY EXTRA) AND COOK UNTIL MELTED AND GOLDEN

LENTIL & CHEESE WEDGES


8OZ/227G RED LENTILS
3/4 PINT/450ML WATER
1 LARGE ONION
FRY LIGHT
4OZ STRONG CHEDDAR CHEESE, GRATED
SMALL CARROT GRATED (OPTIONAL)
1 TSP MIXED HERBS
1 OR 2 EGGS
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE.

COOK THE LENTILS IN THE WATER UNTIL SOFT, AND ALL THE LIQUID HAS BEEN ABSORBED. CHOP THE ONION, AND FRY IN FRY LIGHT UNTIL SOFT. COMBINE ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND PRESS INTO A 9" SANDWICH TIN LINED WITH BAKING PARCHMENT. BAKE AT 190OC/GAS 5/375OF FOR 30 MINUTES. SERVE HOT OR COLD. CUT INTO 8 WEDGES. 2 HUGE WEDGES WOULD BE USING YOUR HEA. VERY SAVOURY,SCRUMMY AND VERY FILLING!!!!

QUORN CHICKEN STYLE PIECES (OR CHICKEN!)
1 MEDIUM SIZE ONION - CUT CHUNKY
10 MUSHROOMS CUT CHUNKY
1/2 ORANGE PEPPER - CHOPPED
HANDFUL OF PETIT POIS
HANDFUL OF FRESH PINEAPPLE
CAN OF DIET ORANGE/FANTA
1 TIN CHOPPED TOMATOES (OR PASSATA)
2 CLOVES GARLIC
PINCH OF SALT
PINCH OF MIXED SPICE (OPTIONAL)
PINCH OF GINGER

COOK QUORN / CHICKEN, ONION, MUSHROOMS, PEAS AND PEPPER IN FRYLIGHT GENTLY. ONCE COOKED ADD CAN OF DIET ORANGE (DIET LILT WOULD PROBABLY WORK WELL TOO), ADD THE TOMATOES, FRESH PINEAPPLE, CRUSHED GARLIC AND THE SALT, MIXED SPICE AND GINGER. COOK ON HIGH FOR ABOUT 10-15 MINS AND REMOVE FROM HEAT AS SOON AS THE SAUCE THICKENS. I ALSO CUT SOME FRESH PINEAPPLE AND ADDED THAT AFTER THE SAUCE WAS COOKED SO IT DIDN'T COOK AND ADD SYNS. YUM YUM YUM.

WHITE CHOCOLATE AND RASPBERRY DESSERT -

FIRST SW DESSERT IVE MADE AND IT WAS SOOOO NICE (2 SYNS +HEB) ITS 2 DOUBLE CHOCOLATE ALPEN LIGHT BARS MELTED, RASPBERRIES, AND FF FROMAGE FRAIS MIXED WITH A WHITE CHOC OPTIONS AND A BIT OF SPLENDA AND THEN LAYERED UP. I INTENDED TO USE QUARK BUT ASDA WAS SOLD OUT WHEN I WENT.

SW’S FABULOUS FREE ICE CREAM


IF YOU HAVEN’T TRIED SW’S FABULOUS FREE ICE CREAM YET – NOW’S THE TIME, ESPECIALLY WITH LOTS OF YOGURT FLAVOURS AROUND TO EXPERIMENT WITH!

  1. STIR 2 POTS OF MÜLLERLIGHT (OR OTHER FREE) YOGURTS AND 1 X 500G POT FAT FREE NATURAL FROMAGE FRAIS TOGETHER, SWEETEN TO TASTE WITH ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER AND POP IN A FREEZER-PROOF TUB.

  2. PLACE IN THE FREEZER AND LIGHTLY WHIP APPROXIMATELY EVERY 30 MINUTES TO BREAK DOWN ANY ICE CRYSTALS THAT ARE FORMING.

  3. YOUR ICE CREAM SHOULD BE READY IN A COUPLE OF HOURS BECAUSE ALL THE INGREDIENTS ARE FREE, IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW OFTEN YOU LICK THE SPOON!

TREMENDOUS TOFFEE CRUNCH - MADE WITH 1 TOFFEE AND 1 VANILLA MÜLLERLIGHT YOGURT, SWIRLED TOGETHER BEFORE POPPING INTO THE FREEZER. A MINI BAG OF (CRUSHED) MALTESERS ADDS EXTRA CRUNCH AND MAKES THE WHOLE DESSERT A DELICIOUS 5½ SYNS!

FRUITY PEACH MELBA – USE A PEACH YOGURT TOGETHER WITH FRESH, CHOPPED PEACH AND A HANDFUL OF FRESH OR FROZEN RASPBERRIES TO MAKE THIS SIMPLE ICE CREAM INTO A FABULOUSLY FREE DESSERT!

HOKEY POKEY – USE TWO VANILLA YOGURTS, ADD A TABLESPOON OF RUNNY HONEY AND SERVE WITH A TREAT-SIZE CRUNCHIE BAR CRUMBLED ON TOP! THIS FABULOUSLY INDULGENT PUD IS 6½ SYNS IN TOTAL AND IF YOU’RE FEELING GENEROUS WILL SERVE 2-4 PEOPLE!

BLACK FOREST – USE TWO CHERRY FLAVOUR MÜLLERLIGHT YOGURTS, AND GRATE A 15G MINI BAR OF GREEN & BLACK'S DARK CHOCOLATE INTO THE MIXTURE FOR 4 SYNS IN TOTAL!
