SYN FREE BANOFFEE PUDDING
I MIXED HALF A TUB OF QUARK WITH A TOFFEE MULLERLIGHT AND A LITTLE BIT OF SWEETNER, PUT ONE ALPEN LIGHT BAR IN THE BOTTOM (HEB), LAYERED UP WITH BANANA AND THE 'TOFFEE' MIXTURE AND FINISHED OFF WITH ANOTHER ALPEN LIGHT BAR - WAS VERY YUMMY AND DEF SATISFIED THE SWEET TOOTH!! :)
What does the 'toffee mixture" consist of?

ReplyDeleteSo the Alpen Light bars are a Healthy B? I thought if you sliced fruit, it altered the syn value, I could be mistaken
ReplyDeleteNo. It's only if you Cook or purée fruit that you add syns
DeleteI was also told that if you slice a banana it became a syn... not sure about other fruits. Bit confusing.
ReplyDeleteWe had the conversation about synning fruit in group this week. If you blend, puree, mash or stew fruit then it has a syn value as it has less 'filling power' because you don't have to chew as much so your brain doesn't realise how much you're eating (or something like that!). Therefore, I think the sliced banana should be fine as you will still need to chew it and will get the filling power from it. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteif youre using 2 alpen light bars wouldn't the 2nd one be counted as syns? Could be wrong only started diet 3 days ago :)
ReplyDeleteIf you are food optimizing (Speed and Protein food only (SP)then 2 Alpen light or 2 Hifi bars are part of your Healthy B option. Even If you are not food optimizing then its a low syn per bar =3 syns
